While it may be true that metal roofs on buildings like garages and pole barns intensify the sound of falling rain, this is primarily caused by the lack of a roof deck, insulation, and underlayment. On a residential home, layers of building materials between the metal roof and the living area reduce the noise significantly, making metal roofs as quiet as any other roofing material when it rains.

We offer a 40 year paint warranty for our stock colors. Metallic colors and Textured paints have their own warranties.
The steel substrate has a 25 year limited warranty.

How long does it typically take to install a metal roof, pole barn, or sliding door system?

Accepted Answer

The average ranch home takes about a day to tear off and prepare the site for the new roof. Another day to install the new steel roof.
Pole Barn installation time varies greatly depending on the size of the building. After original site work is finished, it takes about one to three weeks to erect the shell and get steel on the walls and roof.
Sliding door system kits are pretty quick. Most installers can finish them in four to six hours.
